Alpha Devlog 10: Public Release, Nobles and Alchemists
Parasites and Bats
Since the whole caverns area has now been completed, it is now publicly available. If you followed the previous devlogs, you already know what's in here. But in short: adventurers can now get parasites which will grow and can be extracted and sold. They can also be turned into seedbeds for some extra mana income. There's also some new enemies and encounters in the caverns area. Have some screenshots:
Noble Class (Patreon only)
The noble is a dodgetank that has some easy ways to generate ripostes. The idea is that a knowledgeable player can keep her out of harms way while she stabs the enemy to death. Since she's squishy and requires careful positioning, she's not a good choice for beginners but shines in the hands of an advanced player.
Alchemist Class (Patreon only)
The alchemist deals large amounts of damage but is risky to use. She has a swift (so can be used before your actual move) move that greatly increases damage at the cost of accuracy. Her moves do more damage in general, but have lower accuracy and can kill her if you're not careful. In general, it's a class for people who like gambling and love seeing large numbers pop up.
Next
Since it seems clear that the Lab area is going to win the Patreon poll, I'll start working on that. You might have noticed that the girls' boobs will suddenly disappear if they wear the cow gear to long. Well, the reason is that those boob sizes are missing. So first step is adding two additional boob sizes for the cow cursed class. This requires a lot of texture rework, so it will take the full week.
Also, a big thanks to all the Patrons. Yesterday the Patreon has already exceeded 500$ per month and I'm using that money to commission some music, starting with custom dungeon music and combat music for the lab area. Eventually, it will replace all other tracks as well (which are all still from the previous game).

found a bug. not sure what exactly is causing it, as i have yet to identify the rhyme and reason for it occurring, but sometimes the gear of prisoner (despite having the full prisoner set on) still takes durability damage on occasions, though not always. Some runs it's fine, others it's not. I'll provide more info if I figure anything else out, but for now, this is about all I know about this bug.
Not a bug, in forest dungeon the theme is prisoner, prisoner gear is treated as 0 durability and wont break, but can be swapped out by enemies. In caverns it is treated as all other gear and its durability goes down. This is also the case with the maid gear in the cavern. Each area has a theme and its cursed set will be treated that way.

are the two new classes permanently patreon only? or is it for a specific period of time?
Only for a specific period, they will be public once the next area releases.
