Progress Report: Lust Rework
Desires
Every H-game has one of those panels where you can see the sensitivities of the protagonist. So Ero Dungeons couldn't be left behind. The first prototype was the following:
This is the basic idea behind sensitivities. Boobs, anal, vaginal, and optionally nipples or oral, are the basis in most H-games. But this leads to an issue, namely that these also need to increase based on stuff that happens in the game. Of course, it gets quite difficult to create attacks that specifically target boobs or the ass. It would require a full rework of all attacks, and even then, it would be a very arbitrary system.
So I decided to rework it, and rename it to desires. It would still include boobs (since you need to track their size somewhere), but the other desires would be linked to gameplay mechanics. It lacks polish right now, and the icons need to be reworked, but it shows the main idea.
Main Desire -> Increases over time depending on other desires and general sluttiness
Exhibitionism -> Increases by taking durability damage.
Libido -> Increases by taking lust damage
Masochism-> Increases by taking damage.
Submission -> Increases by wearing cursed equipment (even when uncursed)
This means that the system gets tied into the general combat system by design. It does still need to have an effect to work though, so we get to the meat of the lust rework.
Afflictions
Having high lust wasn't really a problem. Your girl got some negative tokens, orgasmed, and was stunned for a turn. She carried a debuff for the remainder of the dungeon, but in general you could ignore it. Unlike afflictions in Darkest Dungeon. So the obvious response was to make my own system of afflictions. When you reach 100 lust, your character gets an affliction, depending on her desires. This either resolves immediately, or gives her the chance to use hindering moves until she's satisfied.
Clearheaded -> She shrugs it all off, higher chance at lower main desire.
Denied -> She gets a permanent (until she orgasms) denial token, is the result of wearing a chastity belt.
Oversensitive -> She has a high chance to orgasm instead of acting until she's satisfied, this is the default affliction.
Exhibitionist-> She starts stripping herself and allies until she's satisfied, caused by high exhibitionist desire.
Lecherous-> She starts molesting her allies until she's satisfied, caused by high libido.
Masochist -> She takes recoil on all attacks and start guarding her allies until she's satisfied, caused by high masochism desire.
Obedient -> She refuses to attack enemies until she's satisfied, caused by high submission.
Tavern
The tavern wasn't really used since lust was so inconsequential. But even then, it was a bit of a chore. If you didn't use your adventurers during a day, obviously you wanted to reduce their lust. So now the tavern has a passive lust reduction, this can be increased by assigning wenches to work there.
Other Stuff
There is some other stuff as well, now contributions by other people are starting to ramp up. Some classes now have unlock conditions, there's a gear editor for easy modding, there's more QoL stuff, and so on...
Future
The lust rework still needs to be polished. Not all items and quirks interact with it yet, and it also requires some more textures here and there.
After that, there are still more mechanics to rework, in fact, there are so many that I turned it into a Patreon poll to see what should be prioritized:

A little bit too much stuffs now, and some of them are just ignored in general play
I think maybe combine the lust system with something like quirks, and then make them affect more?
I applaud your dedication to making sure that all the sex stuff ties back into the core *game* you're trying to win at the center of everything. It's exactly the core design goal of Trap Quest too, and I'm so glad I'm seeing more and more other devs go this route and make even better and higher quality games than mine with this core design element.
I agree that lust could largely be ignored, but it is also difficult to reduce. I imagine that making lust more punishing will make the game significantly more difficult than it was before.

I recon that I'll need to rebalance lust damage from enemies in the future. On the other hand, afflictions should be less run-ending than in Darkest Dungeon, and desires should be low in the early game, so who knows where it'll end up?
Might also be a good idea to tie this into the asylum sometime in the future, and perhaps the crest stuff
