Progress Report: Lust Rework Rework

As mentioned last devlog, the lust rework still needed some polishing. That was a correct assessment, the main problem with the lust rework was that it was completely broken. Two hotfixes later, it did work however. But that's not all that had to be changed.

Firstly, there needed to be a lot more lewd textures for it. Each desire needed it's own progressing texture, and some fitting icons.

Then, there were also some changes to the lust mechanic itself. Satisfaction is no longer a bar from 0 to 100 that needs to be filled to get rid of the affliction, but instead its length depends on the desire of the afflicted girl.

This is probably somewhat abstract if you're not a Patron and can't actually play with the lust rework yet. So the main takeaway is that the lust rework is mostly finished now, and has some neat graphics.

Other Changes

That's not everything that happened this week. A lot of people have offered their support in the Discord, either through Modding or contributing to the codebase. One thing that came out of this is a bug report feature. You can now press 'pause' or 'F8' to bring up a bug reporting window and send me your bug. You can also still use the Bug Reports channel in the Discord of course.

That's not all, a bunch of bugs got fixed. I'll combine this one with the changes of the previous week since I forgot the changelog then.

This all sounds interesting, can't wait for it to be openly released.... few questions though.

Will it require a brand new save / starting over?
If not, how would the requirement to unlock classes affect existing characters already using "locked" classes?

Will there be ways to decrease desires, or are they just a punishment for continuing to use and level a character? From the bits of info shared publicly, it seems like a character with maxed out desires might be .... problematic XD

Saves are compatible. Locked classes will not show up in the stagecoach until you unlock them, but current girls will keep there classes.

There will eventually be ways to reduce desires, but those aren't in yet.

Great, thanks for the reply - will look forward to trying it!

I haven't played the game yet, but why does it look like bigger boobs =  better? Like you can "upgrade" of "level up" them the same way as submission or masochism

(1 edit)

bigger boobs do give some benefits, but if you check the stat window, they do also lowers some stats too. the bigger the size, the bigger this decrease is, too. in this game, just like real life, it would seem bigger is not always better. but for the most part the pros do seem to outweigh the cons, especially if your character is of the cow class, in which case, the class even depends on it.
