Elite+ and Streamlining Encounters

There are two common complaints about the difficulty of the game, it is too hard for newbies and too easy for experts. There's a reason for this. Dungeons have four difficulties (Novice - Adept - Veteran - Elite), and there are three encounter difficulties (Easy - Medium - Hard). 

From the easy side, even on Novice you could get some Medium encounters. Now, Novice dungeons now only exist of Easy encounters, preventing unavoidable team kills from sudden ratkin lancers. From the hard side, I added a new encounter difficulty: "Elite". These are very difficult encounters, most often containing resources or special field effects. Then finally, there is the Elite+ difficulty. These consist only of Elite encounters and have a larger dungeon size.

More Machine Enemies

First, I've added an upgraded version of the existing machines to allow the labs to be more challenging in harder difficulties. Second, I added a large amount of new machines, where each of them has a grapple move. I'll illustrate them below:

The Seedbed Boss:

The seedbed is a parasite based boss dungeon.

Transformation Rings:

Playing as the Ratkin has been a popular request since the start of the game. That still isn't possible, but now there are cursed rings (pretending to be outfits) that turn adventurers into enemy types (including their effects and moves). This is pretty neat, and seemed like a good way to finish the gear reworks.


Supporter Only: The Mechanic Dungeon

The next boss dungeon is the mechanic. The dungeon consists of multiple floors which must be completed by interacting with one of four curios. You have the choice between a PERMANENT artificial enhancement, or have a fight where one of your adventurers start grappled. It mostly serves as a way to let players enjoy all the new machine content - and primarily the grapples - in a conveniently placed location.

Some of the enhancements go a bit far though, so remember that they are all optional.

Next

Creating boss dungeons and expanding the enemy roster continues. Next up are the Errant Signal and Dreaming Adventurer, so expect some new Ratkin and Human enemies, including Human being its own encounter group.


I'm also working on some administrative busiwork for Steam. This already led to a very nice capsule image and (for supporters) a fancy new menu image.

  • DoTs now count for the deal and take damage goals.
  • Locked quirks now cost more to remove and Premium Locking has been removed.
  • Affliction strength is now always 100 instead of increasing at higher desires.
  • Prisoner's tattoo now decreases durability damage received.
  • When sorting weapons by "Type" they will now be sorted by their class.
  • Flagellate for Paladin no longer has a CON save.
  • Boobsizes no longer affect DMG and REC

QoL:

  • Some tooltips now have subtooltips that explain tokens or moves, thanks Haraberu!
  • Clarified the take heal damage and deal heal damage goals.
  • EnemyInfo now shows the backup move of an enemy, including explanation.
  • There's now an overview of all crests and their effects.
  • Trapless and masculine censors are now split apart, thanks Princessity!
  • Uncursed gear now always stacks in the guild, even when not infinite, thanks Haraberu!
  • Presets now have their own icon frames, but Aura and Tomo are no longer considered unique presets.
  • There is no longer a reduction on slots when jobs become instant, so you can still use those slots to complete goals.
  • The Class Overview now has info on the job efficiencies of the adventurer and timed effects.

Minor:

  • Five new presets: Kaldea, Aster, Yu, Vian, and Ryona.
  • The map overlays are now cleaned up.
  • Console commands: gear_viewer and enemy_viewer (consider them a gallery of some sorts).
  • There's a new console command combat_speed, it changes the speed of combat and is currently experimental.
  • Evolving items and permanent items can now become unlimited and are handled for the item catalog, thanks Haraberu!
  • Not all enemies have to be killed as often to count for the bestiary.
  • New custom rule, items become infinite at 2 instead of 4, thanks Haraberu!
  • Enemies now have custom backup moves, replacing relax. 
  • Added new affliction expressions (with heart irises) while removing the faltering expression.

Translations:

  • Mantra of Community and Relaxation had swapped effects.
  • Emboldening Vapors and Regrowth will no longer target scrap.
  • Mature Brain Parasite lacked damage bonus of weaker versions.
  • Cow party bonus didn't work.
  • Enemy moves would show durability damage even when targetting allies or not dealing damage.
  • You could still move while a girl's overview was selected in dungeon.
  • Incorrect boss dungeon tiles in TypeMapView in overworld.
  • Rescue missions also created a pop that could be rescued the normal way, causing issues.
  • Many icons for the machine mk2's were missing.
  • The huge slime grapplee missed boobs and had miscolored belly.
  • Church uncursing would duplicate move tooltips of items that had them.
  • Set application in the tavern was broken.
  • Quests with random participants can no longer pull from girls with locked jobs.

Been here since the beginning <3 i love and get bored of this game...mianly the lack of the H-scenes in a well...hentai game- but ty for adding more!~ <3 can't wait to "lose" lol but in all seriousness i do love how far the game has gone even if i suck at actually getting anywhere- I'm not the best at the game even when i try QwQ but hey...can't blame anyone but me for being bad- have a good day madodev!~ <3

Abandoned presets are gone forever. If she turned into a doll, she can return though.
